The Vascular & Interventional Specialists outpatient vein treatment team is dedicated to helping patients live a life free of unsightly and painful spider and varicose veins.
Vascular & Interventional radiologists are board-certified physicians with extensive training in disease diagnosis, management and treatment. Their training marries state-of-the-art imaging and diagnostic expertise, coupled with clinical experience across all specialties and in-depth knowledge of the least invasive treatments.
Benjamin Wilson, D.O.
Vascular & Interventional Radiologist
Vein Center Co-Medical Director
Dr. Wilson is a Board Certified Radiologist who specializes in minimally-invasive interventions utilizing image guidance. He completed a Fellowship in Vascular & Interventional Radiology (VIR) at Penn State College of Medicine in Hershey, PA.
John Yoo, M.D.
Vascular & Interventional Radiologist
Vein Center Co-Medical Director
Dr. Yoo is a Board Certified Radiologist who specializes in minimally-invasive interventions utilizing image guidance. He completed a Fellowship in Vascular & Interventional Radiology (VIR) at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston in 2011 and has extensive experience in outpatient vein treatment.
Maria Ravanzo, PA-C
Physician Assistant
Maria Ravanzo is the Physician Assistant who oversees the primary operations of the Fort Worth Vein Center. She has extensive experience in treating vein disease.
Susan Schmidt, M.D.
Vascular & Interventional Radiologist
Dr. Schmidt is a Board Certified Radiologist who specializes in minimally-invasive interventions utilizing image guidance. She completed a Fellowship in Vascular & Interventional Radiology (VIR) at UT Southwestern Medical Center in 2021.
Our Facility
In an effort to better serve the patients of Tarrant County, our practice opened an interventional radiology consult clinic in the heart of the Fort Worth Medical District, in 2016. This clinic enables face to face interaction between our physicians and patients, and is now home to our advanced outpatient vein center.

Our Story
Our practice has a long history of providing outpatient vein treatments to patients in North Texas. This new addition to our Fort Worth-based consultation clinic is simply a continuation of services our physicians were providing in one of the area hospitals. In early 2019, the hospital elected to discontinue these vein treatments, so our physicians decided to build out a new vein center within our existing clinic.
As radiologists and vascular specialists, our physicians are uniquely trained to perform these imaging-guided vein treatments.
